Recommended brewing recipes

Pour Over

Ratio: 20g:300g

Water Temperature: 90°C

Bloom Phase: Pour 50g water in 10sec

Wait for 30sec

 

Pour-Slowly pour water in circles from the top targeting the darker areas. Pouring speed of water should be as close as possible to the dripping speed beneath.

 

Total Brewing time: 3:30 min

Stop the brew as soon as the water reaches the coffee bed level

Aeropress

Ratio: 15g: 180g

Water Temperature: 85°C

 

Process

Bloom Phase: Add 30g of water

Stir for 10 sec

Wait for 20sec

 

Pour: Add 150g of water

Place the plunger on top.

At 1:30 – pull out the plunger, stir 10-15 times.

Place the plunger back

 

Press: Press for a total of 30sec.

Total Brewing time: 2:00minutes.

French Press

Coffee: 15g Coarse grind

Water: 250g – 90C

 

Process

Add coffee to the frenchpress and tare the scale.

Pour water vigorously wetting all coffee grounds with the pour itself. Do not stir or swirl.

At 4:00, gently stir the coffee 3-4 times and insert the filter.

Wait for 1 minute to let the coffee grounds settle and then press slowly.

Gently pour the coffee into a cup

Espresso

Ratio: 20g:40g

Total Brew Time: 26-31Sec

Swirl or stir the espresso before sipping

Ratio:15g:255g

Water Temperature: 94°C

 

Process

Bloom Phase: Pour 50g water in 10sec

Wait for 35sec

1st Pour: 100g in 30sec

   Wait for 15sec

2nd Pour: Pour 90g in 30sec

Total Brewing time: 2:45 min

Aeropress

Ratio: 17g: 245g

Water Temperature: 92°C

 

Process

Bloom Phase: Add 35g of water in 5sec

Wait for 25sec (mix water with the coffee)

Pour: Add 210g of water in 30sec

Stir for about 5-6 times.

Wait for 30 sec

Press: Press for a total of 30sec.

Total Brewing time: 2:00minutes

French Press

Coffee: 20g Coarse grind

Water: 300g – 90C

 

Process

Add coffee to the frenchpress and tare the scale.

Process

Grind the beans a little finer than usual. 

Bloom Phase: Pour 30g water in 10sec

Wait for 30sec

1st Pour: Upto 150g in 30sec

Wait till 1:30

2nd Pour: Pour remaining coffee in 30sec

Total Brewing time: 2:45min- 3:00 min

Aeropress

Ratio: 18g: 220g

Water Temperature: 90°C

 

Process

Bloom Phase: Add 50g of water in 5sec

Wait for 25sec (mix water with the coffee)

Pour: Add 180g of water in 30sec

Stir for about 5-6 times.

Press: Press for a total of 30sec.

Total Brewing time: 1:30minutes.

 

(Same process can be followed for the inverted method)

French Press

Coffee: 28g Coarse grind

Water: 350g – 90C

 

Process

Add 60g water and stir

At 4:00, gently stir the coffee 3-4 times and insert the filter.

Wait for 1 minute to let the coffee grounds settle and then press slowly.

Gently pour the coffee into a cup

Espresso

Ratio: 18g:36g

Total Brew Time:25-27Sec

Swirl or stir the espresso before sipping
